Cosmopolitan Inc. is a professional women's organization designed to foster positive female relationships, promote personal and professional growth, and most importantly, facilitate community outreach and volunteer projects. Our goal is to not only increase the unity among African American women, but to raise awareness, provide educational opportunities, and provide guidance along with accessible, positive role models for the entire community. We seek to offer a helping hand in the unification and education of the female population.

Our organization seeks to generate a positive attitude toward African American women as well as bring awareness to the health, social and educational concerns that plague us. We encourage the public to take a stand and to assist in the regeneration and the rejuvenation of positive African American Women.

Mission Statement

To promote the well being, enhance the quality of life and encourage the full potential of young, professional African American women by promoting socialization through professional, social, educational and community outreach activities.  To this end, Cosmopolitan Inc. – The Ladies of Washington dedicates itself to the sponsorship of social gatherings, educational forums and community service
